Here are interesting factoids about the dragon.
• It's unusually "long", and twists, turns and meanders like a river; a stone river. Water is present around the dragon. Arms crossed over it.
• "Long" in Chinese means dragon.

There's a correlation between the clock hands and map of San Francisco.
The hour hand is pointing to 6 or south as a compass. Looking at the original painting, you may notice the Mercury (Hermes) Zodiac sign. This detail is unfortunately lost because of the low resolution printing of the image.
The minutes hand points to 12 or north on compass. The "12" actually looks like 42 as it's painted. This takes me back to the painting of the piers on her shoulders area with geometric symbols labeling the piers 41 and 43. "42" points to middle of piers 41 and 43. This is where Powell St. ends to the north. Hermes is located south on Powell at California Streets. Verse line "Running north" may be the Powell St. cable car.

P.S. NYC riddle is still to be solved. It uses the same simple methodology as SF ACE! With this knowledge, you may want to go back and dig your location at the correct spot.
