I do think the area has merits as I traced a trail from Legion of Honor, however the flagpole I was told was new. But it appears that a pole or mast was at the memorial. Matthew it seems has excavated everywhere, did he dig by the pole and memorial?

He might've caused a few land slides there too but don't tell anyone!

Who has dug in the Shakespeare's Garden area of Golden Gate Park.
Honest to goodness 3 foot deep holes only please, or good solid probing.
If people have broken earth there, where have people dug?

I know GoldenGate said the back of the wall, behind the door (my favorite spot there) was dug multiple times but I don't trust that guy as far as I can toss him!

I know that spot has been dug. I have seen photos of multiple digs from there, and one legitimately deep one. That seems to be the most popular spot due to the image match.
