I could probably phrase it a bit better... something near burial spots has a reference back to immigration links. And yes, Chinese Pavillion and Chinese playground both in because it would have a link back to immigration theme of puzzle and book.
I have also been looking at Charleston for a while, and there are zero parks that are named after African Americans. In fact, much of the monumentation to that side of Charleston history has only recently been placed in the city, meaning that for that location, the naming theory falls flat on it's face. Same goes for Montreal. Not a lot of Dutch stuff there, and mainly French naming. A better city would be Ottawa for it's stories of links to Holland. I could get away with it, if it weren't for those pesky kids and their legeater dog. It's a work in progress. But has become part of my checklist that ranks up locations as possibilities.
Proof is in the pudding, and my pudding has no casques in it, so what would I know?
Happy hunting!

Hi XeroDM. I agree with Kang. For this particular puzzle, I would be surprised if the solve did not involve one of the areas associated with Chinese culture in SF including Chinese Pavillion or Chinatown (?any others)...on that note, not sure if this is true for all solves. Houston, Montreal in particular don’t seem to derive anything obvious. Charleston is another story. Sullivan’s Island (see JamesV proposed solution) was considered the ‘Ellis Island’ for African-American immigration.

Angel Island is known as the Ellis Island of the west. So Angel Island AND Fisherman's Wharf's Ferry Arch where perhaps Chinese disembarked in SF. Ellis is written in script writing on her robe reading from bottom.

It's cool that the asians are the ones not shown in the immigration map. interesting because they were the only group that had to travel west to get to the new world, the opposite direction as all the rest of the groups.

I thought Russia could’ve traveled East into the Alaska territory.

Palin wasn't around then, but they could've... but that's not what the map (book) shows.

it was NOT a flower-bed when they buried the casque there, that planter was intended to grow euonymus vegetus, and it was all dry soil when they buried the casque there in 1980. It's NOT a flowerbed.
Also, those immigrant correlations you used toward the Parks were....*chuckle*,
Chicago- Scottish and Irish- Grant Park
, I mean...come on...

Jesse Root Grant- Father https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesse_Roo ... ant_family "Jesse's paternal Scottish ancestor, Matthew Grant..."
Hannah Simson Grant- Mother https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hannah_Si ... early_life "John Simpson, Jr. and Rebecca Simpson who came from the Simpson family of Scottish Protestants."

I am sure I read something about Irish heritage as well, but can't find it off straight up. If anyone knows where that link is, please chime in.
I originally didn't think much of it, but the heritage was pointed out to me, and as far as it's a long bow, it's a bow none-the-less. It should be noted that the parks are not necessarily named after people who themselves were immigrants, but people who had that as part of their history.
Also, the part of the park in Cleveland is the Greek Cultural Gardens, and it is part of a larger park with a different name.
What I am trying to get at is that there seems to be a link to immigration when it comes to what park/ part of park was chosen, which doesn't seem like a long bow to me considering the book is about immigration. Probably a lot shorter bow than a theory about clocks, shadows, triangles, masons, chicken scratchings in backgrounds lost in pixels, or other idea that isn't explicitly already laid out in the text of the book.
You don't need to subscribe to it, it's just a thought. I am happy to admit that it has not yet yielded any extra information to help find the elusive 4th.

While it's true that there is a dearth of clocks in the text of the book (which may or may not contain additional clues), the images (which we know do) are lousy with them. That should count for something I would think.

Not sure how to edit a post.. I'm old and all that...
Anyway, I found the person who posted about Grant's ancestry. It was me... ?!?
From Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Early_lif ... t#Ancestry
"Grant was of English and Ulster Scots ancestry;" Ulster being in Ireland, and Scots coming from Scotland- Irish-Scottish. Co-inkydink? Seems very specific grouping of ancestral history.

There is clearly a clock in image 2. Since you and 421 are the originators of the clock theory can you post some thoughts on that?

There are clocks in the images, also flowers and gems. Not sure how, other than showing the birth months (6 o'clock = 6th Month), that the clocks provide any extra info. There's not a clock in all of them though- only SF, Charleston, Roanoke, NOLA and NY, numbering 5, or less than half! But the numbers all line up with the birth months. Maybe the numbers are significant, and we're supposed to infer the ones that don't have clocks based on the gems, creating a meta-puzzle layer that may help, or may not...

Exactly... and again my question for questioning. Does and how do clocks fit into all the puzzles, let alone be the main theme or ultimate solver for the puzzles?? Bryon told Ebert the top of the casque contained the secret but he could not remember where he buried shit?? He had to look in his vault that was absent of his locations? He scouted the shit out of those places. Claimed he hid from the cops in the bushes. Had a hard time getting a shovel in the airplane, but forgot where he buried casques and stupid artist JJP acts like a dumbass and says he knows nothing. He only had an ass load of pictures and documentation to make the pictures. What a crock of shit. Both of them should have been taking Ginko Bilbao. Who the f**k forgets what they did on this scale. Bullshit.

The Secret and its puzzles were all about time, and numbers. Still and all, like it or not, that's a fact.
