I solved it tonight for sure. It's gone. I will be posting what I have of the solution eventually. It is conclusive in every way. It's been a parking lot since at least 1995.

so are you saying an area in the park,has become a parking lot, or the whole park is now a parking lot

to get your gem, you need the casque and key, - at this point nothing is substitute-able for that.
Since the people with the gems don't have the solutions, the only way to check your answer is to find the casque.

Cant wait to see how you "solved" it.

The location is definitely in Prospect Park because the contour lines on this topo map match the swirling water at the bottom of image 12. You need to turn the book clockwise 90 degrees to compare it.

I will pass on some info that Sir Egg passed to me...These are not easy to find, maybe be a little more humble about your theories. I have devoted the last 5 months of my life reading, researching, walking the verse etc... and compared to what I know now, I didn't know squat even last month. I was SURE I knew where it was THREE TIMES. I was positive I solved the riddle more than once. If the blisters on my hands from prodding aren't a reminder of why one should be humble, the weeks of sleepless nights can re-affirm.

I was extremely excited when I found a few clues that had not been discussed on the forums yet, and it is powerful when something finally makes sense, but it's been 32 years and only 2 have been recovered. All I am saying is... it's not as easy as it seems, even when you think you are 100% correct on a location...there is a chance (and ask Forest Blight, or Egg, or Siskel) that you will dig a big hole and find nothing. Egg was almost ready to throw in the towel right before the Cleveland find, and I was in the middle of prodding a location when another clue hit me right in the face making me think I was way off.

I'm not trying to discourage you, by all means if you feel you know the location there are steps you can take to recover it, but with the way the federal and state governments usurp power on our rights these days, the harder it is for someone to just go dig it up without repercussions . You need permits and you need to convince people that your idea is worthy of exploring. The ONLY way I am able to do what I am doing is because I tested my belief...I took it to a respected archaeologist with the backing of a museum and a camera crew. Even that wasn't enough, I chose to contact others who have been on this project longer than me and ask for their help...sharing all my theories with them. If you really believe you know where it is, start taking the steps to recover it...when you start contacting the media, and other professionals about your findings it will certainly test your resolve.

I am fully aware that I could be wrong, and it may be egg on my face (no pun intended B,) but even if I am wrong I will be able to rule out several locations, narrowing the search some, and maybe through that shared knowledge, someone else may be able to solve it one day...but as Egg pointed out, until you are holding a casque, you might be a little more humble about your belief's.

Most people on this board are here to help and seem to be reasonable, intelligent people. All of us want to know the answers, I personally will be donating my casque to a museum for a display if found, then people can see one up close and learn the story of the find....there is no selfishness in what I hope for with this, all I want to do is solve the puzzle. You might have other ideas, and this is still the land of the somewhat free so that's fine, but maybe just pull back a little until you have a casque.

If it's under concrete then it's safe...put your theory out there, and even if it is where you think, there are ways to determine if you are on to something or not based on the image and the verse together. You can also obtain a GPR and penetrate through the concrete to verify. What would you be waiting for...if you feel you are right FIND a way to check...we are treasure hunters are we not?
