Anyone Still Active Here?

I have tried to read as much as I can but I am viewing everything from my phone so it is hard to click through this site as it isn't set up for mobile use. Anyway, I wondered a few things...
Has anyone ever figured out or pontificated online as to the 'design' on the cloak in image 10? It seems to be a clue but I have no idea of course and couldn't find anyone else that'd posted about it here or on other sites. (sorry if this has already been covered, I am new here)
As you walk the beatings of the world....
This seems to be a hard clue to solve.
Could this be a reference to Summerfest of all things? I wasn't alive when the book was written but looks like it Summerfest pre dated it and the tag for the festival is "worlds largest music festival" (such as beating or beatings of music). Also, many festivals are held on those grounds (Mexican Fiesta, German, Irish Fest, etc...music of the world) and it is just south of Lakeshore park.
That is my amateur hour stab at it.
If anyone is still out there please do reply and let me know if there have been any changes, updates, more frequented websites about this, and any actual digs.
