No dig dates have been given out yet, I was told that the permit process will resume once the city has more resources.

They are not issuing permits until after COVID. When things get normal we can get our permits. You should bring a lounge chair and kick back and watch.

lol. There are conspiracy theorists that believe there were space aliens with communicators that report to mother ship. Even time travelers from the future. They look for old pictures with guys with cellphone looking things to their ear.
This image is from 1971 so he most likely has a small transistor radio to his ear.
The bell in the image looks like the peal with it's shadow; pearl being the bell's clapper or even the brassy inside of the bell. May be a depiction of the bell viewed from underneath.
The flagpole with bell is also still interesting if it was there in the 80s.

One rarish thing about the lady in the image is that she has blue eyes with dark hair.
SF related lady would be Dianne Feinstein.
Another attempt at lip reading! Her lips are in the same position as the image posted in the link below.
As if she's saying "I do." Two events; her marriage AND being sworn in as mayor.

Speaking of Chron-nickel, prior to 1975 the radio station KOIT's call letters were KRON.
If you're a Coit tower fan then KOIT is a good fit for "sounds from the sky" and a hint to the location.
Kinda like "feel at home".

Coit Tower has always been in my top 4 solutions. Which are 1 SHP, 2 LOH, 3 ghirardelli square with Fishermen’s wharf water front area. 4 coit tower area.

So it’s the final count down. They will be issuing permit’s to dig in June for July digging. You know exactly where I’m going. But I have back up locations there like the literal Stone Walls door and the Statue of Dianna.

It is not on Alcatraz, not on Angel Island, and not Treasure Island. And definitely not in South San Francisco or Daly City either.
The 1 and only location where I believe the cask was buried, is San Francisco!
