Canlis Restaurant in San Francisco operated from 1965 to 1985 at Fairmont "Stonewall".Here's a period image.
George's Blum's Confectaurant must've been inside the hotel. I doubt a high-end restaurant like Canlis would let them pump their "sweet air" out their front door.
It seems like someone is blowing hot air at us!
I like my "Air smells sweet" much better since the method works with a few other verses.

Cable cars were/are part of San Francisco MUNI system. Cable car crossing perhaps.

He's still in San Francisco. Last I heard he's supposed to go walk California Street sometime this weekend so I'll keep you posted. :)

Sorry, I don't watch the Walking Dead.
Here's a fresh one for tennis courts zombie lovers!

• Half top of the dragon looks like top part of Lombard St.
• Dragon is made of stone blocks, Mason St.
• G ... h in painting could be the 1st and last letters of Greenwich St.
• Opened claw of the dragon forms a "C" and the diagonal leg it is attached to corresponds to Columbus St. (1st across).
• Closed claw of the dragon forms a flipped "P" that corresponds to Powell St. on the SF map.

Joe DiMaggio Playground Park is encircled by Lombard, Mason, Columbus, Greenwich, and Powell Streets.

Me either. That was a pretty good idea you had to pin the 12 puzzle topics at the top. High five!
Mini monkey didn't get to head over to Powell Street this weekend, he had to re-schedule for next weekend so we're still waiting to see what he comes up with out there. :twpearl

Great stuff FM.
SFFD 6 (San Francisco Fire Department 6) is the coolest.
In addition to the real Tom Sawyer being a fire fighter, "the Call" box has a direct connection to Twain and San Francisco. Twain worked as a reporter for The Daily Morning Call or The Call for short in San Francisco.
Do you have any closeup pictures of the vines growing on the wall of the University Club?

Thanks salty boss! Teamwork makes the dream work lol. I agree, seeing that little SFFD 6 was an awesome unexpected surprise for me as well. It's funny because the first time my buddy went down there they took pictures but didn't send them until they were already back home, and they'd forgotten a few really important ones. The second time they parked at Grace Cathedral only to realize Trash Muppet wasn't in the car. This was from the first batch of pictures, so I had to explain that my friend was actually hoping to see if anything was written on the disc so please move Jr off to the side.

No, I just checked everything he sent and I don't have any that show the vines further down the wall unfortunately. It looks like they moved from the pics on the corner then down to Hermes. That's probably my fault because by the time I saw the SFFD 6 and the red fire call box, plus my other missing spots, I was so excited I didn't even realize the bushes on the corner he did take the pic of are not the same plant as the vines a few steps further down the hill. I'll reach out and ask if he happens to have any other pictures of the leaves that he didn't send, but I kinda doubt it.

When there is at least 100 people who have a solution and no casque, and can back it up with evidence like yours, what makes your solution any better than theirs?

The hedge at the corner may be a Yaupon Holly (below, from your "show"). It has spiky edge leaves. Roses also have spiky edge leaves. However, the leaves in the painting have smooth edge. The creeping vine on the wall seems to be Ficus vine. Image from 2018 below. It has smooth edge leaves.
